I don't know about you, but for me figuring out what to wear to a wedding is difficult. There are a bunch of terms to describe the level of formality for an event; and, before I started planning this wedding I had no idea what any of them meant. For example, I used to think that "semi-formal" translated to "a little nicer than what you wear everyday." That is wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. Turns out, semi-formal is the same as formal except tuxes are optional and ladies have the option of a shorter hemline. Who knew? Not me, that's for sure. So, this is for everyone who is like me and doesn't know how to dress themselves appropriately. The suggested dress code for our wedding is "cocktail attire." But, what does that mean? Basically: look nice but be comfortable. If "being comfortable" to you means a little more formal, go right ahead and be a little more formal. But, if "being comfortable" to you means jeans and a t-shirt... maybe upgrade that to slacks and a nice top. Here is a comprehensive breakdown of what cocktail attire means.

OMG Shower!
The shower was wonderful! Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who made it possible! And thank you everyone who came for making it a really fun day!
A few special shout outs:
Thank you Talle and Alina for putting it all together! Madlibs were awesome and guessing who gave the gifts was a stroke of genius!
Thank you Mom for being an awesome social butterfly! You took on introductions between families (and even introductions within families hahaha) and made sure everyone was having a good time!
Thank you future father-in-law, Steve; future brother-in-law, Dan; and future husband, Will for carrying the loot to the cars in the super muggy-ness. I know that wasn't fun, but I really appreciate it!
I'll get pictures up soon. If anyone has pics please email them to me!
